Really the title of the page is "Cool art that will mess with your head". Trust me it will mess with your head. A good compilation of old and new visual tricks that will keep you guessing, and keep you interested. Im still trying to figure out some of them. http://www.reallywarped.com/CoolArt.htm

Lets Give THIS a Try
Art carved on a leaf, need I say more. The process is insane, but the product is undeniably cool. I would like to see a Monet but maybe that is a lot to ask for. For now we have some pretty cool examples of what can be done by carving think layers off of leaves like the one below. Hit the link if you want to see more. http://koikoikoi.com/2010/09/the-art-of-cutting-leaves-by-natures-art/

What is Art?
Art can be defined differently from person to person, but to me personally it means to create something new and unique. This new work whatever it may be can almost never be reproduced in the same way as the original. This unique quality allows people to appreciate a piece of work and truly allows it to become art.

Trash Bag Art, No Kidding
This is creativity at its best without a doubt. This guy makes some pretty cool monsters out of bags and when the subway goes under the ventilation they come alive. It will make a lot more sense when you actually see it for yourself.

Back to JB
I hope nobody is over Julian Beever yet because I have another interesting bit of media on him. On previous posts I put a preview of his website and link to go and view all of his amazing work. Now I would like to share this video of his 3-D sidewalk art making process. Please enjoy the Pavement Picasso.
Propaganda Poster
I wanted to base my propaganda poster off of some well known WWII propaganda posters as you can see above. I created and transformed almost everything in Illustrator and organized in Photoshop. I have always felt that a strong symbol of accusation is the pointing finger so it only seemed right to use that as my main focus point. I do not passionately disagree with the WWII propaganda posters you see concerning more production and defeating the enemy, but I wanted to use well known and easily understandable classic propaganda to give my poster that classic feel.

Vector Exercise
This was my first real attempt at using Illustrator and I had a lot of fun messing with the tools even though they were mind numbingly frustrating. I tried to make it look like a "P", or is it and "R"? The letter can be whatever you prefer of the two. I also wanted it to appear as if it is boarded to the background.
